Honestly, my group just kind of winged it. We had an idea of what to do and we went for it and it worked. The planning was all in our heads. It was very sudden.
I don't think we followed the rule of thirds. It just slipped my mind.
For me, it gives me more of a personal connection with the characters who are speaking. I don't see them from afar and its just closer, more in a way where we'd see them in real life.
The dialogue is realistic but the acting was obvious acting. It didn't feel real and challenges we had in editing were the sound didn't work so we had to move to another computer.
There is no mood or tone. I think it's very bland.
I like them. For some reason, I thought they'd be harder to do than it is.
What other ideas got emphasized or reinforced about how to make effective videos from doing this exercise?
I just think you can see the reactions more and all. Since it was my first time, that's all I learned. If I did it more, I'd learn more.
